PARENT PACT

It takes 60 seconds, and it might just change the world!

By acting together, we shift the ‘smartphone norm’ for our children faster than any of us could alone.

The Parent Pact gives you a choice of what age you want to delay smartphone ownership for your child or children (14, 15 or 16)

When making your decision, it can be helpful to think about why we have minimum ages for smoking, gambling, driving, drinking and sex. Many experts in child development say that 16 is the right minimum age for smartphone ownership. We encourage you to choose 16 if you can - and the more families that do, the less peer pressure there will be on our children and ourselves. But please know that every year you delay is a powerful choice that makes a real difference.
